MY NATURE CONNECT EXPERIENCE
By
Smt.Vinita P. Bidwai

Dr. Bhagyesh Kulkarni of Diabetes Free Forever taught me how to connect to Nature during their the 5 days residential camp at Deham, Pune in March 2026. After I returned home from the camp, I have connected to nature in different ways on a day to day basis. I am sharing my experience here.

1. BIRDS:

Koyal Bird

A cuckoo is singing a song on a tree. This is a very nice *morning alarm* to me.

In the nature, there are many species of birds. They are different in colour, shape and structure too. But God gave them a unique quality of different *musical* *instruments* in their throat. Every bird has his *unique magical* voice.

Let us thank Nature, for giving unique experiences to us.

2. SU:

Sun

O Gaganraj Suryadev, you rise in the east,

Your divine radiance illuminates the entire sky.

From you alone, the life of the entire creation has been formed,

Yet you expect neither flowers nor leaves from us.

Expressing gratitude to you for everything you provide us,

We pray that qualities like your brilliance and discipline manifest in all of us.

3. FLOWERS:

Flowers

The cool, pleasant breeze of the morning brought the fragrance of Mogra flowers (Arabian Jasmine), which drew me irresistibly to the plant.

The fresh scent filled my heart with delight.

Thank you, O breezes; thank you, Mogra flowers—

you both have filled my day with happiness today.

4. TREES:

Trees

This is a cherry blossom tree from Japan. Trees never get angry, sad or depressed. They always give something or the other without any expectations.

When the season arrives all the trees gets loaded with flowers. I think, trees are laughing with expressions through flowers.

Like the trees we should always give happiness to self and others, from our inner consciousness, from deep within our soul and with an open heart.

5. WATER:

Water

Watching the flow of water calms anyone's mind.

From the mountains, it leaps and falls, becoming a river that merges into the ocean.

Overcoming countless rocks and stones, it carves its path and reaches its destination.

Water is pure, cool, pristine, creative, nectar-like, bountiful, fruitful, quencher of the thirst of the mind, and giver of life to others.

We all should honour water and use it wisely.

Let us invite its flow—and its many qualities—into our own being.

6. ENDURANCE OF A TREE:

Endurance of a Tree

Even in a cement jungle, a single tree endures the sun's heat, freely offering its cool shade to relieve the toil of passersby and fill them with joy.

Similarly, if we all resolve to do so, even our presence can bring coolness, happiness, and delight to others around us.

7. EARTH:

For the past few days, I've learnt to connect with Mother Earth, and since then, my mind has found a unique sense of peace. We have a lot of favours bestowed upon us by Mother Earth, despite our littering and throwing waste around. She never retaliates or stops loving and forgiving us.

She bears the weight of all, provides us food, water, trees and plants, countless mountains, soil, minerals, and many other resources—but what do we give it in return? Nothing. Let us at least express our gratitude to Mother Earth for all that she is providing us every day.

Our body is made of the five elements, in which the earth constitutes 12% in the form of our bones and muscles.

Come, let us first seek forgiveness from Mother Earth, bow down to her from our heart, and pray that her special qualities—like motherly love, protection, nurturing, support, and many more—manifest in all of us, while strengthening our bones and muscles.

8.FLOWERS:

Flowers

Why are such a golden yellow flowers bloom upon this tree? Has it received some reward, an increment, or a big promotion? No.

Nature needs none of this, nor does it even desire it. It simply does its given work with full devotion, 100 percent, or super-duper, in its own joyful way.

Why don’t we think like this too?...

Let us change our thinking from today. Bowing to Nature’s positivity, purity of feeling, and sincere spirit, let us pray that these qualities be granted to us as well.

9.POWER OF NATURE:

Nature

Nature holds so many powers that we cannot even imagine them. A few months ago, some trees in my society park were completely uprooted during a major storm and fell to the ground. Within 2–3 days, they were re-planted with the support of large wooden frames. Now they have bloomed once more, without any medicine or surgery.

Mother Earth gave the trees shelter again in her lap and helped them to stand up again. The magic of the sky, the touch of the wind made them blossom, the sun gave them its warmth, and water from the earth nurtured them with love. The entire universe gave them a new life.

Just as nature comes together to help one another in such difficult times, let us bow to this special quality of nature and pray that these qualities and powers may flow into our own personality.

10.NATURE'S MAGIC:

Nature'S MAGIC

Did you notice the craftsmanship? Nature is a truly magical artisan.

This is the same tree — the lower part is in one photo, and the upper part is in the other. Isn’t it a remarkable artisanship?

Its trunk seems as if it was made from 10–12 different plants, yet it is only one tree.

Nature makes every creation it forms beautiful, unique, and different.

Why shouldn’t we also learn from nature to make everything beautiful, to think beautifully, to act beautifully, and to do something a little different and special?

Come, let us first bow to Nature in gratitude for giving us a fresh way of thinking, and pray that its magical imagination may be granted to us as well.

11.PLANT AND ITS POSITIVITY:

Plant and its positivity

The plant does not give up its positivity even in negative or dirty surroundings; it blooms and blossoms in its own way. Likewise, no matter what the circumstances are, we should keep our pure and beautiful nature intact and learn to give happiness and joy to ourselves and to others.

12.SKY:

Sky

Early in the morning, dark clouds covered the sky, and the wind brought along strings of rain, which gives us Pranshakti, come let us welcome the sky, the wind, the dark clouds, and the water today, and express our gratitude to all of them.

13.MOTHER'S EMOTIONS:

Moher's emotions

In nature, a mother has same emotions with her children, be it be an animal, a bird, a fish, a human being or mother earth. So let us express our gratitude to every mother with a pure heart.

14.LAW OF CREATION:

Law of Creation

Autumn is a law of creation. After the spring season, a tree slowly moves toward autumn. It takes some rest for a while, then moves toward renewal and blooms again.

In the same way, a human being also has to face many ups and downs, joys and sorrows. Yet a person keeps blaming fate,God, and so on.

Why can’t we take interim rest like nature does? If today has become dark, why not think that a new morning will come again tomorrow?

Come, let us accept this law of creation and move toward the path of a new morning in our health, our joys and sorrows, and our ups and downs of life!

And the experience continues...
